Dinner cruises organised by Banyan Tree Bangkok

BANGKOK Banyan Tree Bangkok now extends its dining experience, which includes the popular Vertigo and Moon Bar on its topmost 61st level, to the Apsara cruise vessel.

Available only for dinner charters on the Chao Phraya River, it seats 64 persons and offers a Thai set menu (THB2,200/US$72.87 per person). The two-hour journey begins from the River City mall pier and passes along landmarks such as the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun Ratchawararam) and the Royal Palace.

However, private rent outs are possible, allowing trips to, for example, Ayutthaya, Thailand's ancient capital, for the day.
