Adelaide Convention Centre has welcomed events industry leader Coralie Cheney on board as general manager – functions and business events.
“Coralie is well-known and respected within the industry and among clients of all three venues operated by Adelaide Venue Management,” says Anthony Kirchner, chief executive of Adelaide Venue Management, which operates Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium.
“Her strong client management skills, proven sales ability and attention to detail will be invaluable as our venues continue to grow.”
Cheney joins ahead of the completion of the centre’s A$400 million expansion, due for next year.
Cheney brings 15 years’ experience in event management and venue marketing to the role.
Adelaide Venue Management also host a portfolio of public events, including the Cellar Door Fest, Brickalaide and Santa’s Workshop.
