The Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM) is increasing its Chinese-language offerings and preparing to host festivities over the weekend to mark the Lunar New Year for visiting Chinese groups.
The venue is expecting to welcome an increased number of business events visitors from Mainland China over this period off the back of a successful incentive trip by Amway China earlier this month.
The trip saw ANMM welcome 4,000 incentive qualifiers with maps and signage in Chinese and a website and interpretation in Chinese among its tailored offerings. This is the second large group from China that the venue has hosted.

Over the Chinese New Year period from January 27 – February 12, the Sydney locale is offering weekly Mandarin speaking tours. Additional Mandarin speaking tour guides and Mandarin speaking volunteers have been hired for the occasion.
Over the coming holiday weekend (January 28-30), the venue is partnering with local government authority City of Sydney to host animated rooftop projections in the evenings to celebrate the Year of the Rooster.
