HO CHI MINH CITY New World Saigon Hotel is offering guests a tour of the city through the prism of arts and cuisine.
Available for booking every Saturday from now until March 31, 2013, this guided tour includes a visit to the private collections of students from the School of Fine Arts, which is housed in a traditional Saigon villa, as well as a stop at the impressive Fine Arts Museum featuring stunning examples of Sino-French artwork before and after the reunification of North and South Vietnam are displayed. The itinerary includes an introduction to the local cuisine.
The Saigon Arts and Culinary package is available in two categories that comes together with accommmodation. The Deluxe Arts Package includes a stay in a Deluxe Room at VND3,780,500 (approximately US$180) for a single room and a VND4.683,000 (about US$223) for a double roo).
The Executive Arts Package includes a stay at the Executive Club Deluxe Room at VND4,620,500 (about US$220) for a single room and VND5,523,000 (about US$263) for a double room.
The package includes transportation during the one-day arts tour in an air-conditioned car, admission fee to the the exhibitions and an elelgant Saigonese-style street food set dinner.
New World Saigon Hotel spokesperson Sabine Vu told Mix that the guided arts tour around Ho Chi Minh City can be organised for small incentive groups throughout the year upon request.
"We recommend that the group should not be bigger than 10 people as it is very exclusive where the tour guide takes participants to exhibitions and collections in private houses."
Vu added that for incentive groups, the hotel can quote a special price as the cost becomes lower when booking for more than two people. The arts tour can be customised to include an overnight stay at the hotel or a dinner if requested.
