Aime extends partnership with Reed Travel Exibitions

Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) has announced the renewal of its partnership with Reed Travel Exhibitions to manage the region's largest travel trade show, Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (Aime).

Management contracts have been extended for another three years through to 2018. MCB CEO Karen Bolinger and Reed's Divisional Director – Travel, Nick Pilbeam said "excited by the possibilities that this multi-year partnership will generate".

"We know this show inside out and we are thrilled to continue to work with one of Australia's leading Bureaux, one that is so deeply committed to the business events industry," Pilbeam said.

Bolinger added that Aime is entering a new era, which will see "collaboration and inspiration re-invigorate the whole experience for attendees and stakeholders".

Owned by Melbourne Convention Bureau, Aime has been running for 23 years. Last year’s show saw a 5 per cent increase in attendance on 2014 with exhibitors from 37 countries and another 5 percent of which were first-time participants such as Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and Samoa Tourism Authority.

This year’s show will take place in Melbourne on February 23-24, 2016.
