A taste of Paris in Macau

MACAU The territory's venue line-up has just received a posh infusion with the opening of China Rouge at Galaxy Macau. The new private performance lounge oozes old Shanghai chic paired with turn-of-the-century Paris, yet boasts the most modern elements in entertainment technology.

Designer Alan Chan also called upon the talents of well-known artists such as Buhua, Deng Xinli and Zheng Lu to adorn the walls with works that reflected beauty and sensuality, adding a risqué touch to the interiors. The bar area features semi-private sofa seating, while the VIP mezzanine floor is expected to pulsate nightly with both regional and global talent.

China Rouge executives promise that food and beverage offerings will be of top quality, especially the Champagne and wines. There will also be innovative signature drinks concocted with a nod to the classics. While the house cuisine is Shanghainese inspired, international dishes will also star in the menu.

Said Francis Lui, vice-chairman, Galaxy Entertainment Group: “We are breaking new ground with China Rouge. There is nothing else to compare it to in southern China. We have no doubt that it will quickly establish itself as one of the finest nightlife experiences in the world.”
