Hong Kong Tourism Board has opened a service centre dedicated to business event visitors at HKCEC, the city’s downtown conference and exhibition venue.
Officials say the HKTB Visitor Service Centre at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre is the first of its type at a major convention and exhibition venue. Equipped with touchpoint technology, the service is designed to encourage business event visitors to extend their stay and explore Hong Kong

The centre’s launch comes as HKCEC hosts Consensus Hong Kong 2026 this week, which is billed as a flagship global cryptocurrency and Web 3 conference.
The facility is located at the Harbour Road, Wan Chai entrance of HKCEC and also provides a welcome point for international delegates. Information and practical tips are offered to help business travellers discover more of Hong Kong.
“We aim to assist MICE visitors in balancing their business commitments with exploring Hong Kong’s diverse tourism offerings through our visitor services, thereby enriching their overall experience,” said Anthony Lau, executive director of HKTB.
Michael Lau, chairman of Consensus Hong Kong, said: “We truly appreciate the HKTB’s support for business events and commitment to enhancing delegate experiences. Having a dedicated Visitor Service Centre right here at HKCEC is invaluable, as it gives our delegates an immediate access to discover all that Hong Kong has to offer – from incredible food and cultural diversity to scenic hikes and iconic experiences.
“With so many options in the city, the HKTB’s ability to curate and highlight these opportunities is tremendously helpful.”

The Visitor Service Centre features a self‐service kiosk that showcase the latest travel information, details on major events, festive celebrations, and HKTB’s thematic campaigns. It also provides practical travel guides covering accommodation, transport and more.
The centre is open daily from 8am to 7pm. During large‐scale conventions and exhibitions, HKTB staff are stationed at the centre to offer immediate travel assistance to MICE visitors, such as introducing Hong Kong attractions and key events, and advising on itinerary planning.
