1/ Georgetown
Backgrounder – Its colonial history and the then British Empire’s harnessing of the island’s trading routes go back to 1790. And that history can still be seen with Georgetown’s preserved heritage quarter that forms part of Penang’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites. Vibrant Georgetown is a tapestry of British colonial architecture, Chinese clan houses, mosques and Indian temples, all stitched together with colourful street art.

To See & Do – Take a trishaw ride through narrow lanes, pausing at the Chinese clan jetties for a an upclose look at waterfront life. Wander through Little India for spices and saris, then head to Armenia Street for galleries, cafés and group photos with historic mural backdrops.
Whereabouts – Georgetown occupies the northeast corner of Penang Island, about 30 minutes from Penang International Airport.
2/ Auntie Gaik Lean’s Old School Eatery

3/ Penang Hill & The Habitat
