INCENTIVE TRAVEL and meetings industry specialists Patrick Delaney and Pádraic Gilligan, who founded the SoolNua advisory, are stepping aside from leading the company.
Aoife McCrum and Gráinne Ní Ghiollagáin (pictured right) are taking over as joint owners and managing partners of the Dublin-based firm, which has played an active advocacy role in global MICE events.
SoolNua – a Gaelic phrase meaning “new eye” – also provides consultancy work to destinations, hotels, venues, MICE agencies and associations worldwide seeking guidance on strategy, marketing, and training.

McCrum, a graduate in advertising and marketing, has been with SoolNua since its was founded and has helped shape the company’s brand and reputation.
Ní Ghiollagáin, who joined SoolNua five years ago, qualified as a pharmacist before spending significant time gaining industry knowledge and experience on both the supply and demand sides of the industry.
Delaney and Gilligan will continue to be involved in different capacities. Delaney will remain connected in an advisory role, contributing selectively to key projects, while Gilligan continues as an integral part of the operational team, providing strategic direction and mentorship.
