PENANG’s homegrown travel-trade event returned October 8-10 with more than 40 exhibitors and a 100-plus buyers from 14 countries and regions.
The 7th edition of the Penang International Travel Exchange (PITE), was held tp0 position the city as a leading business events and travel destination. It was organised by Ace Conferences and supported by the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB).
Buyers came from India, China, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Brunei, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Britain, and the United States.
The three-day event also saw a fam trip with destinations and experiences that included Penang Hill, The Habitat, Entopia Butterfly Farm, Tropical Spice Garden, and a Craft Batik workshop.
