Leading event planners from the corporate, agency and independent companies gathered at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club for the International Special Events Society's Event Industry Leadership Dinner. The local chapter-in-formation welcomed Kevin White, president of ISES International, who is based in the United States. The dinner, at the yacht club's Gun Room, also combined a panel-type discussion on creativity at events and the challenges of filling in the creative gaps, particularly in client-agency relations.
