Jane Sun, co-president and chief operating officer of Ctrip, will be the keynote speaker at the opening of the first ITB China event.
Ctrip is one of China’s leading online travel agencies.
ITB China, organised by Messe Berlin, is due to take place on 10-12 May, 2017 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.
The event will be held there annually thereafter.
“We are confident that the ITB China will be a great opportunity for Ctrip to enhance its business relations with global destinations and travel service suppliers,” Sun said.
The trade show launch has already sparked huge interest. Leading Chinese travel companies, including Ctrip, Alittrip, Utor and Caissa, have confirmed buyers’ attendance.
ITB China Conference will run parallel to the trade show.
