Fukuoka Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting IT&CM China’s first post-show tour to Japan to promote the island of Kyushu as a meetings destination.
The five day, four night tour will cover Kyushu destinations including Beppu, Fukuoka, Kurume, Miyazaki, Nagasaki, Oita, and Sasebo across two concurrent itineraries.
The convention bureau is marketing Japan’s third largest island as an alternative to the Japan’s most popular destinations, Tokyo and Kyoto.
The tour will offer buyers the option of seeing attractions such as Unitamago Aquarium in Oita, Aoshima island in Miyazaki, Hashima UNESCO World Heritage site, Nagasaki Brick Hall, and Peace Park, Glover Garden in Nagasaki and Dazaifu in Fukuoka.
During the tour buyers will meet representatives from ten convention bureaus and suppliers from around Kyushu at a business session on April 12, 2016.
