KUALA LUMPUR Visitors and delegates at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) can now enjoy a faster online experience as the Centre increased its wifi connectivity to 40MB as well as offering it for free.
“Technology and social media are having a big impact on how venues are marketing themselves and packaging their product offerings. It is becoming the norm, and not a competitive edge, for meeting delegates to expect to get their wifi for free,” said KLCC general manager Peter Brokenshire.
Anyone carrying a wifi-enabled device can get on the internet at the Centre. There are also connected computers onsite, which can be used at no cost.
