HONG KONG Mystic Point in Hong Kong Disneyland opened recently, marking the final phase of a HK$3.6 billion expansion programme. Two other attractions, Grizzly Gulch and Toy Story Land, preceded this new park based on the travels of the fictional Lord Henry Mystic and his mascot monkey Albert.

As with all of Hong Kong Disneyland's themed areas, Mystic Point not only features a signature ride – this time, a state-of-the-art trackless system that takes visitors for a tour of Lord Mystic's private museum – but provides event spaces as well. The Explorer's Club Restaurant (below) can accommodate 500 diners in five halls, each inspired by a specific destination: Russia, China, Egypt, Morocco and India, and another 100 diners outside. There is also ample room for large cocktail receptions on the grounds.

Drawing on Hong Kong Disneyland's vast creative resources, event planners are always assured of unique staging options featuring Disney's beloved characters, spectacular parades, marching bands and more. The Disney Business Solutions & Events (BS&E) team serves as the single support source they need to execute an event and creatively maximise space for both corporate and after-work activities.
