The Luxury Collection Hotel has announced key staff appointments for Mexi Lake Hotel in Changsha, China, ahead of the September opening.
Designed by CallisonRTKL, the 310-room property will boast a central location overlooking the Xiang River.
Eddy Tang has been named general manager. Tang has over 28 years experience in hotel management and was former general manager of The Castle Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Dalian.
Other key appointments include Isaac Han, executive assistant manager, Andy Hu, director of sales and marketing and Tony Shen, director of culinary & service.
“We are thrilled to have assembled an extraordinary team of hospitality veterans as we prepare to welcome guests,” says Su Jihua, vice general manager of Changsha Jinmao Meixi Lake International Plaza Properties.
“The Luxury Collection, Changsha is a key development in the Meixi Lake Zone. General Manager Eddie Tang, who is known for his extensive global background, inspiring leadership, and innovative approach, will guide the hotel’s team in creating the one-of-a-kind guests experiences for which The Luxury Collection is known.”
The hotel is due to open on September 30, 2016.
