Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) hosted the Network of Indian MICE Agents (NIMA) in a fam crowned by a successful networking brunch at Setia SPICE Convention Centre.
The event was held to strengthen business relations between Penang and India, while leveraging India’s significance in Penang’s business tourism and events sector.
Leading the NIMA team were Gajesh Girdhar, National Coordinator of NIMA, and Rakesh Arora, Convention Chairman of NIMA. NIMA agents enjoyed a networking session and brunch featuring Indian cuisine.
A comprehensive SPICE tour then showcased the Convention Centre's versatile facilities, encompassing expansive convention spaces, meeting rooms, and a multipurpose arena. NIMA agents gained valuable insights into Setia SPICE's capabilities for hosting global events.
The event ended on a cultural note, as NIMA agents embarked on a trishaw tour around George Town, immersing themselves in Penang’s cultural heritage, revealing the city's captivating stories through its architecture, street art and vibrant local life.
