Tourism Portfolio general manager, Sharon Levingston, cited the Incentive Travel Excellence Incentive Travel Index 2024 study, which found positive signs of more activity in the incentive travel market.
The report was jointly produced by the Incentive Research Foundation and the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE). Of the 2,800 organisers interviewed, 45 per expect business to be above or higher than 2024 levels.
“We have more of our international clients travelling to Australia next year than we’ve ever had before and that is because they recognise that international corporate meetings and incentive travel rewards are extremely strong and getting stronger,” Levingston said.
