The Macau Incentives & Special Events Association (MISE) has launched its Macao Event Planners’ Guide 2017/18 – a professional English-language directory on Macau’s business events industry.
Accessible to planners worldwide, the guide was launched at an association networking event at China Rouge, Galaxy Macau on November 22.
In addition to producing a tool for planners, MISE aims to create a event destination brand for Macau with the guide.
Rebecca Choi (left), vice president of MISE, says: “We are very happy for the tremendous support and interest that we have been receiving from the Macau MICE Industry.
“We are proud to have all major stakeholders participating in this guide, including several government departments.
“We are confident that this Macau Events Planners’ Guide will be a key sales and marketing tool for Macau as a MICE destination,” she adds.
During the launch event at China Rouge, Galaxy Macao on November 22, MISE secretary Bruno Simões (right) reviewed the year’s activities, including two industry networking events and the Certified Incentive Specialist Program (CIS), co-organised by the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE).
The next step for the project is to launch a web portal where potential organisers can browse venues and submit proposal requests to MISE members.
The guide can be downloaded for free via MISE Macau’s website.
