Audit and consultancy giant KPMG is used to dealing with high numbers – and the company’s meeting planners knew a sizeable venue was as vital as a strong bottom line for the firm’s China Partner & Directors Conference.
Around 600 delegates from KPMG’s China division descended on Macau for two days of performance pulse checking and target setting.
The KPMG China Partner’s & Directors’ Conference 2016 took place at Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel, Cotai Central from November 3-4.
Attending for the first time was KPMG global chairman John Veihmeyer.
“This is an important conference for us. We’re bringing together all of our partners and directors across China which is a big team,” he said.
The conference programme included general sessions, interactive ‘chat room’ sessions – during which delegates could provide live feedback – and a BBQ at the hotel’s Tiki pool.
“This was our first project together, and we were pleased the conference logistics went smoothly and without any major problems,” said Anita Chau, director of marketing for KPMG and organiser of the event.
