PCMA Asia Pacific is continuing its education series with “Pivoting to Virtual Events. Lessons Drawn from Experience” next Wednesday, August 12, 10:30am to noon HK/SGP time.
The webinar is co-hosted with Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Industry Association and takes a deep dive into events run by leading organisers across different sectors that have pivoted to digital.
Darren Chuckry of PCMA Asia Pacific and The Marketing Society Hong Kong co-moderates the panel with Stuart Bailey, chairman of the city’s exhibition and convention industry association.
Art Basel general manager Andre Strachan will be on the panel along with Dave Chan, of Informa Market Asia; Karena Belin, of WHub, and Leo Stemp, of mining investment event organisers, the 121 Group.

Exhibition mangement education
Eddie Choi and Je Choong Yip are among the trainers at the UFI Exhibition Management School, which is held in 10 online sessions from September 28 to October 23.
The UFI-EMS is is a continuum of the Exhibition Management Degree that the global association for exhibition organisers has been organising since 2007.
Choi, managing partner at Mills Singapore, and Yip, senior vice president commercial at Reed Exhibitions Asia Pacific, will be among the six experts covering topics that include budget and P&L; cross-channel exhibition marketing; human resources and leadership; sales, and strategy creation and development.
The course is aimed at mid to senior representatives from exhibition organising companies. There is an early-bird offer until August 15.
