TOKYO has been selected to host the 9th International Symposium on Meniere’s Disease and Inner Ear Disorders (MENIERE 2027) in February 2027.
The event, which is expected to draw over 1,000 delegates from around the world, marks a significant milestone in the global effort to advance research and treatment of inner ear disorders. The event-bid win was announced by Business Events Tokyo.
The symposium will bring together leading neuro-otologists, clinicians, and researchers to exchange cutting-edge findings and explore innovative approaches to managing Meniere’s Disease—a condition that affects balance and hearing and continues to challenge specialists worldwide.
MENIERE 2027 is seen as a strategic opportunity to accelerate international collaboration and spotlight Tokyo’s growing role as a hub for medical innovation. The event will also highlight Japan’s commitment to advancing healthcare through global partnerships.
Organisers say Tokyo has been selected for its charming attractions, easy accessible international connections and significant in-kind and financial support from Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Convention and Visitors Bureau (TCVB).
