AN INTERNATIONAL association of corporate event planners and decision makers has agreed to work more closely with the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.
Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau, part of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, announced a strategic partnership with non-profit association United Networks of International Corporate Events Organisers (Uniceo).
Uniceo said in a statement that the partnership would further build awareness of Abu Dhabi as a meetings and incentives destination through enhanced networking opportunities with the association’s key international decision-makers.

Business support and “destination awareness opportunities” would also be provided for Abu Dhabi to “Uniceo’s community of corporate events decision-makers”.
“We are delighted to partner with United Networks of International Corporate Event Organisers to enhance our meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions offer and continue to increase awareness of Abu Dhabi as the gateway to the MENA [Middle East, North Africa] region among its 2,500 members.”
“This strategic partnership will benefit global corporations convening events in Abu Dhabi and help them leverage the diverse offerings of the UAE capital,” al Shamisi said.
Laurent Fuchs, executive director of Uniceo, said: “Abu Dhabi is conducting an ambitious strategy to attract corporate events. We are delighted they decided to support Uniceo and trust their offer will meet our members’ needs.”
