A spokesperson for the arena and exhibition complex said the standard represented a significant milestone as IMPACT Exhibition Management  strengthens the venue’s International standards commits to environmental responsibility and ethical event practices.

The most recent version of the standard prioritises diversity, human rights, and creating beneficial event legacies. This expands on the 2012 edition’s emphasis on incorporating sustainability into daily routines.

“The IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre’s sustainability commitment remains unwavering and abided by the three pillars or principles of environmental, social, and governance (ESG),” said Kunwadee Jintavorn, executive director of IMPACT Exhibition Management.

“Sustainability is not just a policy for us. It’s ingrained in our daily operations and future vision,” said Jintavorn, adding that a new sustainable event package created for event organisers seeking a “sustainable alternative”.

The venue successfully fulfilled its lighting efficiency replacement project in all buildings that entailed replacing all existing lights to LED technology in the convention halls, meeting rooms, and indoor parking garages.
