Mala Dorasamy is the new chief executive of Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre. She was previously director of sales and marketing and took on the acting CEO role in 2021.
Among her roles in the new position will be to transform MITEC into the “business and lifestyle events industry’s forefront player” as the venue moves to the “endemic phase of the Covid-19 pandemic”.

Dorasamy, who is from South Africa, worked as director of sales and marketing at Durban International Convention Centre and has more than 31 years of experience in business events.
