Continuing its ‘Stay for Brightness’ campaign for the visually impaired and blind, Accorhotels Greater China organised a series of charity walks, an open golf event and a charity dinner where diners wore blindfoldsto raise funds for preventive programmes on eyecare and treatment for the affected.
Now in its third year partnering with Orbis International – an NGO committed to ‘saving sight’ – Accorhotels staff were encouraged to take part in fundraising events, which have so far sponsored 75 pairs of spectacles for underprivileged children, 1,005 eyecare educational programmes and surgery subsidies for eight visually-impaired children.
