Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is continuing the rollout of the Radisson Blu brand’s “Experience Meetings” product across Asia Pacific with previews this week in Bangkok and New Delhi.
Experience Meetings features Brain Box, a breakout room concept that adapts to different learning styles and to create a stimulating atmosphere using bright colours and flexible furniture. This is aimed at helping boost ideas by encouraging active participation and interaction among delegates.
A Brain Food culinary concept has also been developed in consultation with nutritionists and chefs. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients that have had minimal industrial processing are emphasised.
Sandy Russell, vice president, commercial operations, Asia Pacific, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, said: “Experience Meetings provides all the elements that contribute to seamless, successful meetings in a creative and intellectually stimulating environment, whilst providing meetings planners with environmentally sustainable options, as well as enhanced rewards.”
Russell said the programme, which had its first regional preview in Shanghai on August 25, meets the demand for more successful meetings by leveraging on technology and innovation. It is also based on customer insight and research.
In Asia Pacific, Radisson Blu has 45 hotels in operation and another 34 under development. The brand is also recognized by the Green Meeting Industry Council as a leader in sustainable meetings and the Club Carlson for Planners rewards programme allows members to earn gold points that can be redeemed for free stays and airline miles.
The Experience Meetings programme also automatically purchases carbon credits that offset the estimated carbon footprint of each event.
