Knowledge powers travel-leader sessions at ITB China
Ctrip chairman to open educational forums in Shanghai as Chinese and international travel leaders gather for third edition of trade show

3 Apr 2019

DECISION-makers and opinion formers from the Chinese and international travel industry will impart their knowledge at the third ITB China Conference 2019, set to take place at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Conference Centre, May 15-17.

Speakers will provide insights into their expanding markets and include representatives from leading travel service provider and conference partners Ctrip, who will be joined by Wyndham Hotels, limousine-services provider Shouqi, Mafengwo and others.

The education sessions kick off with an opening keynote by James Liang, the chairman of Ctrip, on May 15.

In 2018, some 4,000 people attended the show while the conference section featured 120 speakers covering 70 topics. ITB China said it would build on this success.

Conference topics are being extended to cover themed travel, customised travel and hotel marketing and distribution – all curated from the Chinese traveller demands identified in the ITB China Travel Trend Report.
