ICC Sydney delivers ‘5-star’ incentive for China group
Amway China delegation hails venue’s first incentive a success, with Chinese sharing banquet and the friendliness of staff standout features

1 Feb 2017

Newly opened International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney delivered a “five star standard” first incentive according to the Chinese client, with a Chinese sharing banquet and the friendliness of staff striking gold.

The Darling Harbour precint, which opened December 2016, hosted 8,000 delegates for the Amway China Leadership Seminar 2017 from January 6-18.

Associate director of AV and events production for Amway China, Bert Li (right) called the event a “triumph”.

“From developing specific bi-lingual signage and providing exclusive routes through the precinct, to creating dishes that mirrored our guests’ tastes, every detail was anticipated and delivered to a five star standard,” he said.

Post-event surveys indicated that a Chinese sharing banquet, designed in line with the venue’s Feeding Your Performance philosophy, was an event highlight. Attendees also noted the courtesy, efficiency and friendly manner of staff.
